Murder 3 is an upcoming Indian thriller film and the sequel to the 2011 film, Murder 2. It will star Randeep Hooda, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sara Loren in the lead. Directed by Vishesh Bhatt and produced by Mahesh Bhatt, the film will release in 2013.

Reports say Mukesh Bhatt's son Vishesh is gearing up to debut as a director. With the film currently at the scripting stage, Vishesh after whom his father has named their production house, is pretty excited about the project. Confirming the news, Mukesh Bhatt said, "It's a love story cum thriller titled Murder 3 with Randeep Hooda and two debutant heroines." Making , Shooting of the film has already begun in Cape Town, South Africa.
The makers of the film, who also worked on Murder and Murder 2 decided that Emraan Hashmi would not be returning for Murder3 and will be replaced by Randeep Hooda. After replacing Mallika Sherawat with Jacqueline Fernandez in Murder 2, the makers first considered actress Esha Gupta for the female lead in the third film. However, Aditi Rao Hydari was finally chosen as the female lead. Mona Lizza was then chosen as the second female lead, as he film is a one hero, two heroine project. Lizza, however, will be credited as "Sara Loren" from this film and for the future, to obliviate her past failure, Kajraare, which was her debut film.
This film not just marks the directorial debut of Mukesh Bhatt's son Vishesh, but also will see Randeep Hooda as the leading man and instead of Murder's permanent fixture and Bhatts' blue eyed boy Emraan Hashmi.
With the sequels working well for the Bhatts, Murder 3 is surely to be looked forward to.
