Produced by Vishesh Films, and presented by Fox Star Studios, Murder 3 looks no different from the other Bhatt films, all made on shoestring budgets, and churned out by the Bhatt assembly line. In the movie, the makers have given a second chance to the Pakistani actress Mona Lisa, now rechristened as Sara Loren. The actress was last seen opposite Himesh Reshammiya in the movie Kajraare, which tanked without a trace at the BO. Also seen as the supporting actress is the lovely Miss Aditi Rao Hydari, and both the sirens have racy lovemaking scenes with Randeep Hooda.
The trailer shows Randeep as a fashion photographer, and Sara as the model. Both play lovers. The trailer then introduces a police officer. The cop warns Sara about Randeep, but she says he’s innocent. What crime has he committed? Who’s murdered in the film? Aditi Rao Hydari? The small trailer thus shoots up the suspense, without divulging much about the plotline or the sub plot that has Aditi. Moreover, Randeep seems to play an eccentric, mysterious character in the film.
Well, from the Murder 3 trailer, the movie looks better than Murder 2 (2011) starring Emraan Hashmi and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead. However, the question is: can it repeat the success of Murder (2004), which was a path breaking erotic thriller, and made Mallika Sherawat and Emraan Hashmi the stars.
